Reggio Emilia Study tour update

We have closed the list to participate in the October 23 -26, 2012 study tour to registration. Fifty eight (possibly sixty) educators have signed on! Now we are adding names to a waiting list.

It’s going to be quite an exciting experience, I’m sure. There will be a lot to write about on the blog!

    Hello Ronnie

I just added your name to the waiting list. You are number 13 on the list. However, I don’t know if all the people on the list are still interested in going. We probably won’t know until August 1st because the last day for paying is July 1st.

I’ll let you know as soon as we have more information!

Thank you. Our school has 350 children aged 2-6 and while we continue to send teachers on study tours of reggio, we are constatnly looking for applications to the reality of life for these children in NYC schools.

Ronnie, I have been trying to include traces of some of the wonderful studies from some of the schools where I’ve done consulting. Some examples are the playground study, the wheelchair study and the bridge study. Perhaps I’ll try to write one or two of them up in a more easily descriptive format. All three of the schools are in New York City – two in Brooklyn and one in Manhattan. It would be wonderful if you could share some of the studies that your children have explored!

Renee- I understand that I am behind the deadline for signing up for the Study Tour, but I am still greatly interested in attending. I am not sure if this is the proper forum for signing up, but could you please add me to the waiting list? Let me know if you need any further information. Thank you!

    Hello Renee:

I see that the last day for payment was July 1st. Can you comment on the paid registrations? If there is still a possibility, I would like to be added to the list. I am hoping to book a flight to Reggio within the next week and would appreciate any information you could provide.

Thanks-Timothy Frawley [Assoc. Professor @ Mercyhurst University]

        Hi Renee

Yes, please add me to the waiting list. What is the current indication in terms of the number of those who have already paid?- I am trying to get a sense of whether the there is a chance of attending this workshop in October or to just plan on going to the Middle East International study group scheduled by Reggio Children in November.
